I learned a new term today.

Oh, is it now? See up until now I had thought “gay off” was the definition number uno from Urban dictionary.

However, I would have to disagree with definition numbero dos. Telling someone to “gay off” does not sound cooler.

Marcon is a local Sci Fi/ Fantasy Convention. This means Ghostbusters, Storm Troopers, Cute girls in skimpy costumes from some anime you’ve never heard of, lots of gaming, free drinks and a lame dance party that was not as cool as last year’s.

I had such a blast! I finally finished my costume and I think it looked really great! I competed in the costume contest but didn’t win anything 🙁

Ah well, there’s always next year. There were lots of parties as usual, met some hot geeky girls, hung out with good friends, had a million and a half pictures taken of me by strangers (photos shall be forthcoming).

I spend most of Sunday recovering(lots of sleep and fluids!) but it was totally worth it.

The costume has started and I only have a day to get it done!

One of my pets took heed and gifted me with a shiny little green iPod this week!

I’m so psyched! Now I have new earbuds too that are green too and match! The ones that come with the iPod don’t fit my little ears.

One of my favorite lingerie items is the short silk slip. It comes in many varieties, but I just love the look and feel of a silk slip hugging me with nothing underneath.

Hey no one has been an asshole today so I have nothing to blog about!

I went to Victoria’s Secret yesterday with a gift card from a wonderful friend and got a couple much needed bras. It occured to me that I could always have gift cards for Victoria Secret and never get tired of it. There’s just so much to pick from! Sexy bra and panty sets, soft and comfy sleepwear, practical bras and panties…the list goes on and on.

Anyway, I love lingerie…it’s fab.

So, my birthday was grand.

I slept in, went to the park, did some gardening…and now I have like 5 varieties of tomatoes. God, I love fresh tomatoes. I can’t wait for the first harvest. Among these, I have jalapeno peppers, wax pepper, cayenne peppers, bell peppers, and peas in the ground. And those few surviving carrots from before the frost.

I went window shopping, and out to dinner and a movie with a friend. I watched The Haunting in Conneticut. I was freaked out the whole night and next day. I’m just not on for scary movies, even ones that aren’t that great. At least the movie wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be.

I’m very interested in stories of the paranormal, though I’m easily spooked. I guess I just like the little adrenaline rush. Of course I prefer to hear stories of mischievous sprites and gnomes rather than malicious spirits.

Finishing my mom’s mother’s day present and then work shall commence on the red jasmine outfit!
